Oracle APPS Inverrntory Interview Question

Q) Inventory Organization (Default Accounts):

While setting up inventory organization you need to give a Material account and an Expense account.

Will every item of inventory hit the same material account and will every inventory-expense item hit the same expense account?

If not, how do we ensure that various inventory-expense items hit different expense accounts ?


If  costing method is Average, then the material account will be only one. or can use cost groups if using Project Manufacturing or WMS. In standard costing, you can have different material accounts on the Sub inventories.
