Oracle Order Management

Requirement :

Created a ATO BOM with mandatory items and option class,option Items . 
Mandatory items are purchased items . 
when sales order is created and * item is created,not able to see the mandatory item in SO and price of the mandatory item is not included in the invoice
Mandatory items are available in the *BOM for the job . 


Mandatory items never show up on the sales order. 
And the price of the mandatory item should be included on the ATO Model parent price. 

A workaround  is as follows. 
Define a new dummy option class. Add the mandatory item to the Option Class BOM as an optional component. Do not add any other item to the Option Class
Now attach the Option Class to the ATO Model BOM as a required Option Class
