What are the different employment models in Oracle HCM Cloud?

 Two-tier and three-tier models are the primary categories. 

The two-tier model includes the work relationship and assignment entities. 
The three-tier model includes the employment terms entity in addition to work relationship and assignment. The employment terms entity is positioned between the work relationship and assignment. Contract details can be included in both models. 

Note: Additionally, you can specify whether to include multiple assignments in either model.
What are the implications of choosing a three-tier employment model?

If we use 3 tier model it will impact

  • end user experience
  • bulk loading 
  • maintenance of data
  • It is available for worker and non worker relationships
  • Limited support or no support for Taleo and 3rd party integrations
  • Limited support or no support(position management, salary FTE calculation, grade step progression, Payroll, OTBI)
So better to use 2-tier model.
